Responsibilities

Perform complex engineering tasks independently and/or lead technical teams supporting aircraft and weapons integration programs.

Develop requirements, integration plans, and technical documentation throughout the system lifecycle.

Develop, analyze, and maintain behavioral, structural, and parametric models to support system design and integration.

Review and prepare engineering analyses, reports, specifications, TEMPs, contractor design data, and change proposals.

Coordinate efforts with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful system integration.

Identify program requirements, track performance metrics, and manage the systems engineering process.

Serve as a technical representative at design reviews, program meetings, and test events; prepare technical reports, trip reports, and correspondence.

Qualifications

Master’s Degree in technical or scientific field with at least 8‑10 years of recent and relevant systems engineering experience OR Bachelor’s Degree in technical or scientific field with at least 10‑12 years of recent and relevant systems engineering experience OR PhD in technical or scientific field with at least 5‑7 years of recent and relevant systems engineering experience

At least 3 years of DoD systems experience

Demonstrated subject matter expertise in Model‑Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methods, processes, and tools.

Proficiency with SysML and modeling environments such as Cameo Systems Modeler, MagicDraw, Rhapsody, or similar MBSE tools.

Demonstrated ability to lead or mentor engineering teams in the application of MBSE to complex DoD programs.

Must possess and be able to maintain a Secret Clearance.

Desired Skills

Experience Digital Engineering applications and technologies

Airworthiness experience, including knowledge of NAVAIR airworthiness requirements, safety of flight, and flight clearance processes, is highly desired.

Experience in DoD acquisition lifecycle, including requirements development, systems integration, verification and validation, and sustainment.

Knowledge of strike weapons, aircraft integration, and test and evaluation processes.
