Responsibilities
Provide engineering and systems support for aircraft, simulators, and weapons systems. Support sustainment, upgrades, safety, and airworthiness activities within the systems engineering discipline. Review and manage engineering changes, risk assessments, and technical documentation. Contribute to system integration, configuration management, acquisition, and resource management efforts. Apply safety engineering principles, including hazard identification, documentation, and regulatory compliance. Support software acquisition functions, requirements management, and the understanding of software workflow. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a technical or scientific field with 2-4 years of recent and relevant experience or Master’s degree in a technical or scientific field with 0-2 years of recent and relevant experience. Must possess and be able to maintain an active secret clearance. Experience with one or more of the following: Dassault Systems Cameo Systems Modeler and/or Cameo Enterprise Architect; SYSML; UAF; OOSSEM; Requirements decomposition and satisfaction via architecture; Principles of systems engineering and the lifecycle of a system. Knowledge of aircraft systems, flight training operations, or acquisition support for both fixed-wing and rotary-wing aviation platforms (highly desired). Familiar with the naval acquisition lifecycle, safety engineering practices, risk management, and technical documentation standards. Self-starter who works effectively with minimal supervision and is proficient in system modeling tools, including the development of behavioral, structural, and parametric models. Collaborative team player who quickly adapts to new technologies and builds strong relationships with subject matter experts, colleagues, leadership, and customers. Clear and confident communicator capable of engaging effectively across multiple teams and stakeholders. Inquisitive, motivated professional with demonstrated experience in systems engineering methods, system integration, DoD acquisition support, and SysML modeling. Benefits
