The King’s Kids Club Group Assistant is responsible for creating and maintaining a safe, fun, and thriving environment appropriate for children, under the supervision of the Director, Site Coordinator, and Lead Teacher. The role involves performing tasks independently and collaboratively to support the children and team. Essential Functions
(Overview; may not include all responsibilities) Support the Director and Lead Teacher in maintaining a quality program aligned with King’s Kids Club standards and mission. Assist in maintaining a safe environment for children. Creatively solve problems and address concerns with students. Know and comply with state regulations concerning licensed before-and-after school programs. Develop positive relationships with students and families. Maintain flexibility and adapt to changing situations. Work collaboratively with supervisors, coworkers, students, and families. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications
Christ-Centered
Proclaim Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Live in accordance with biblical principles. Support CRISTA’s Statement of Faith. Experience
At least one year of experience working with children. Certifications
Willing to obtain within 30 days: STARS ID, background check, HIV and bloodborne pathogen training, and TB skin test. Software Skills
Proficiency in Office 365. Additional Considerations
Strong math skills in elementary disciplines. Excellent time management. Must be at least 16 years old. Ability to work with diverse populations. Friendly and courteous demeanor. Maintain confidentiality and composure. Patience and child-centered temperament. Clear communication skills. Professional attitude. Keep certifications current. Follow dress code as outlined by the Director. Preferred Qualifications
