SNI Technology has partnered with an organization in the Kissimmee area who is looking to hire a Network Security Engineer to join their team. The role is a direct hire opportunity with 100% employer-paid benefits and additional benefits. They are seeking a candidate with 5 or more years of experience. Must have a CCNA or higher and Security+, CCNP Security, CISSP or other security certification. Please note this candidate must be local to the Kissimmee/Orlando area.
The ideal candidate should have strong experience in design and implementation of network setup for new projects.
Responsibilities
Should have work experience in installation, configuration, and support of Cisco network devices (Cisco ACI, Cisco Routers & Switches, Wireless Standalone AP and Meraki, Riverbed/F5).
Strong technical experience in design, setup and configuration of complex switching environments (VLAN, EtherChannel, STP, HSRP, etc.) and routing environments (BGP, EIGRP, VRF, MPLS, DMVPN).
Strong technical experience in L3 routing protocols.
Extensive hands-on experience in L2 protocols and Cisco Wireless Technologies (Standalone APs and Meraki).
Hands-on experience in Riverbed.
Experience in configuring QoS, route-maps and S2S tunnels.
Basic understanding of Cisco ASA or other firewall products.
Ability to perform TCP/IP network traces/packet captures and interpret results.
Experience with monitoring tools such as SolarWinds/Zenoss and reporting.
Troubleshooting networking issues and root cause analysis.
Documentation of network topology in Visio.
Experience managing ISP issues and coordinating with service providers for link-down issues and RCA preparation.
Documentation and basic knowledge of ITIL framework to help with process alignment.
Must have skills in Routing, Switching, Wireless, ACI.
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in networking or a related field.
CCNA or higher and Security+, CCNP Security, CISSP or other security certification.
Local to Kissimmee/Orlando area.
