Responsibilities
Conduct Fitness Assessments to design exercise programs tailored to client goals. Assist clients with exercises to minimize injury and promote fitness; modify exercises based on client fitness levels. Monitor client progress, provide motivation and feedback. Provide information or resources on general fitness, trends and health issues to benefit members. Demonstrate and teach exercises, giving feedback on techniques to improve safety and effectiveness. Promote and sell identified personal training programs, supplements, and services. Participate in all scheduled meetings as required. Qualifications
Must be certified by NASM, ACSM, ACE or NSCA certifications. High school diploma (some college coursework preferred). Excellent communication and hospitality abilities. Knowledge of anatomy, functional exercise, basic nutrition, and basic exercise science. Able to achieve and maintain active goals; goal-oriented. Keep current on certifications, trends, and topics in fitness. CPR/AED certifications. Ability to move and lift up to 35 lbs; standing for extended periods; professional demeanor and clean uniform.
