MAKE IT HAPPEN . The role involves presenting to small groups, making and receiving calls, working with channel partners, generating interest, qualifying prospects, and closing sales. Responsibilities Sourcing new sales opportunities by targeting prospects through single-family homebuilders and within your territory. Understanding prospect and customer needs and making relevant recommendations. Working with current clients to uncover new opportunities. Managing customer expectations by ensuring commitments are met. Closing sales and achieving monthly quotas. Researching accounts, identifying key players, and generating interest. Maintaining and expanding your database of prospects, clients, contacts, and partners. Building and monitoring the sales pipeline and closing deals. Developing lasting relationships with key decision-makers within customer and prospect organizations. Performing other duties as assigned by your sales or branch manager. Requirements High School diploma or equivalent. Proven sales experience in the electrical supply and distribution industry. Track record of exceeding quotas. Epicor Eclipse ERP experience preferred. Proficient with corporate productivity and business technology. Ability to stay focused and productive with minimal supervision. Experience working with popular CRM systems. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong listening and presentation skills. Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively. Must have a valid driver's license. Benefits Medical, dental, life, and vision insurance 401(k) Retirement Plan and Match Paid Time Off Holiday Pay Physical Requirements Lifting up to 25 lbs. may be required infrequently. Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Constant operation of a computer and other office machinery.
