Overview
We’ve partnered with our client who is seeking an Inside Sales Representativeto join its team. This is a 4-month contract assignment, fully remote. The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for generating and qualifying leads, following a structured sales process, and supporting sales growth through prospecting and consultative outreach. This role involves researching potential clients, engaging them through outbound calls, and handing off qualified leads to senior sales consultants. Key Responsibilities
Meet or exceed sales targets and weekly activity metrics Conduct outbound prospecting (80–100+ calls daily) Identify client needs and present tailored solutions Generate warm leads for the sales team Use a consultative sales approach and handle objections effectively Maintain accurate records in CRM (e.g., Salesforce) Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitive offerings Support sales planning, forecasting, and marketing efforts Work across multiple time zones as needed Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field preferred 2+ years in business development, lead generation, or pre-sales Strong phone communication and persuasive selling skills Experience working with CRM systems Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Familiarity with B2B sales and professional services industries Experience or understanding of tax, accounting, or financial services is a plus Proficiency in Microsoft Office and virtual presentation tools Compensation and Benefits
Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual’s skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs. With that said, as required by local law in geographies that require salary range disclosure, Vaco/Highspring notes the salary range for the role is noted in this job posting. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, and can participate in medical, dental, and vision benefits as well as the company’s 401(k) retirement plan.
