Account Executive

Account Executive, McAllen, TX, Full Time OBJECTIVES Develop and maintain relationships with advertisers and advertising agencies. Sell commercial airtime, digital media, event sponsorships, and marketing/NTR campaigns. Meet or exceed assigned monthly, quarterly and annual revenue goals. Provide world class service using corporate tools and workflows. RESPONSIBILITIES Plan and strategy: Develop a detailed plan to encourage the growth of new business and maintain existing business relationships. Present the benefits of advertising on television, radio, and digital assets to local business owners and/or advertising agencies. Revenue and contribution: Meet monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals. Develop annual plans based on existing and new opportunities, industry trends, and growth potential. Customer service and quality control: Develop and maintain a direct-to-client communication channel. Use interpersonal skills to sell commercial airtime, digital media, event sponsorships, and customized marketing campaigns designed to achieve the client’s objectives. Additional duties: May include research, promotions, development, copywriting, servicing, and collection efforts. REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE SKILLS Excellent organizational and multitasking skills in a high-pressure environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to attract, persuade, and motivate clients. Self-confidence and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Understanding of TV, radio, and digital ad-tech platforms. Proficiency in technology tools: G-Suite, MS Office, PowerPoint, Excel, and Salesforce (CRM). EXPERIENCE CRM experience (preferred). Experience in sales, marketing, digital, or business leadership positions. Developing creative marketing solutions and strong presentations. Experience in developing product and sales marketing presentations to clients. POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK This is a Full Time position. Actual schedule and hours may vary.
