Summary
Mitsubishi Motors North America, Inc. (MMNA) is seeking a District Sales Manager to join the South Regional Sales team. As a DSM, you will work in a business consultant capacity, assisting MMNA dealers to profitably sell Mitsubishi vehicles and accessories, while providing customers with an excellent buying experience. This position supports 9 dealers across West Texas, Arizona, and New Mexico. The ideal candidate must be located in AZ, preferably Phoenix. Pay
Base pay range: $90,000.00/yr - $100,000.00/yr. The base salary will be based on role offered and the individual’s knowledge, skills, and qualifications. Pay transparency: The base salary ranges between $90,000 and $100,000, with a comprehensive benefits package including 401(k) with company match, Mitsubishi Lease Program, and medical, financial, and other perks and benefits. Responsibilities
Attain district wholesale and retail sales objectives. Contact dealerships and coordinate wholesale, retail vehicle and P.O.E. accessory sales activities with dealer principals, general managers and/or department managers. Develop and maintain professional long-term relationships with dealers within the assigned district. Communicate with dealerships to provide consistent direction of policies, procedures, etc. Monitor dealer adherence with policies and participation in sales, marketing, and advertising programs. Advise Region management of non-compliance situations and recommend solutions. Analyze individual dealership sales, market penetration, and vehicle inventory. Develop and recommend marketing/promotional strategies to maximize wholesale/retail sales volume, profitability, and customer satisfaction. Educate dealers on marketing trends, including social media, electronic marketing tools, and dealer reputation metrics (e.g., Google Star, Cars.com). Enroll dealers in the latest marketing programs and services. Ensure dealership logo and website compliance with Mitsubishi guidelines. Collaborate with dealers and their sales staff to ensure proper training using Mitsubishi’s Academy, MiShowroom, and MiDelivery. Research and resolve outstanding incentive payments with dealers. Assist dealers with the utilization and claiming of RDA and Co-op funds. Plan and implement sales strategies with district counterparts. Other duties as assigned or required. Required Qualifications
Preferred 3+ years of professional exempt-level automotive retail/wholesale experience or prior automotive retail sales experience (e.g., Sales Representative, Sales Manager, F&I Manager). Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred. Extensive travel is required. Must maintain a valid unconditional driver’s license and an MMNA-approved driving record. Location & Travel
