Your role and responsibilities This position reports to: RA Auto Tier I Sales Leader
In this role, you will be responsible for the Robotics Division’s Automotive T1 business and ABB market share. Your main responsibilities include generating and following up on robot and robot systems leads, developing ABB’s business with end customers for robotic products and systems, and traveling 70%+ of the time during a typical workweek.
The work model for this role is: Hybrid
You will mainly be accountable for:
Leading the development and implementation of the account plan and Statement of Work growth actions.
Understanding key business drivers and risks (e.g., sustainability, digital, cybersecurity) of global customers and translating them into impacts and opportunities for ABB.
Participating in the development of sales strategies for the account, including current business and long-term plans.
Defining sales targets, monitoring market price developments, and ensuring appropriate response strategies are implemented.

Qualifications for the role • Bachelor’s degree plus minimum 4 years sales experience OR Associate degree plus minimum 6 years sales experience OR High School diploma/GED plus minimum 8 years’ sales experience • Previous experience with Automotive Tier customers preferred • Experience in selling automation, especially robots and robotic systems • Ability to develop relationships with new customers • Ability to travel up to 70% weekly • Submit complete and accurate proposals and forecasts via Salesforce • Must have work authorization to work in the US for ABB
