Provide best-in-class guest service: greet guests, respond to questions/concerns promptly and courteously, assist with gaming needs, inform guests of promotions, recommend items, and demonstrate selling behaviors during every transaction. Support the shopping environment, including visual and operational elements, current sales initiatives, and guest relationships that lead to sales and repeat business. Process guest purchases/returns accurately using POS, including making correct changes, bagging merchandise, providing receipts, and maintaining high guest service standards. Respond to guest questions in person or on the phone; escalate issues to the Store Manager when appropriate. Promote GameStop guest benefits such as reservations, trade-ins, and Pro Rewards. Assist the Store Manager with setting guest service expectations and training store associates on company policies and procedures. Monitor associate performance and provide feedback; address unsatisfactory performance as directed. Provide recognition and feedback to store associates; document feedback in the HR system in partnership with the Store Manager. Ensure onboarding and training are completed before associates open or close shifts; maintain knowledge of policies, inventory control, loss prevention, safety, and ethics. Assist with scheduling to ensure proper coverage and optimum guest service; supervise staffing levels and breaks as required. Approve payroll, manage paid time off, and verify time worked. Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and merchandising per guidelines; ensure fixtures and equipment are in working order. Fulfill Omni-Channel orders and ship daily. Protect company assets through inventory control and loss prevention; inspect packages during closing or shift end as appropriate; report concerns to the Store Manager. Support meeting and exceeding sales, profit, and shrink goals; complete required administrative duties. Perform inventory counts, restock merchandise, and move products to ensure representation and organization on the sales floor. Balance daily transactional totals in the POS system; complete closeout paperwork and bank deposits as required. Verify shipments for discrepancies; conduct inventories and report discrepancies to the Store or District Manager. Process defectives/recalls and stock pulls; label boxes with packing lists. Maintain guest and associate safety; report injuries per guidelines. Assist in maintaining store records and ensure manuals are up to date. Supervise and delegate tasks to Sales Associates and Retail Keyholders in the Store Manager’s absence. Adhere to all GameStop policies and procedures including the Associate Handbook and Code of Standards, Ethics & Conduct. Open and close procedures adherence. Qualifications

Must provide proof of identity and eligibility to work in the United States. Must be at least 18 years old. High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, merchandising, or related field preferred. At least 6 months of retail management experience preferred. At least 2 years of retail sales, guest service, and/or management experience preferred. Video game knowledge preferred. Key Skills

Outgoing, welcoming personality with strong people skills. Genuine, individualized guest assistance during every visit. Clear verbal and written communication, with English; bilingual English/Spanish preferred. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage tasks independently and in a team. Strong attendance, personal appearance, safety, and respectful workplace standards. Operate POS system; basic math and alphabetizing skills. Complete required paperwork accurately and follow written or verbal instructions. Flexible schedule availability, including nights, weekends, and some holidays (minimum 3 days/week). Ability to handle pressure, solve problems creatively, and stay customer-focused. Reliable, trustworthy, and able to work independently; stand/walk for extended periods. Physical ability to lift up to 30 lbs and perform related tasks; willing to learn about policies relevant to locations on military bases if applicable.
