Planting, Harvesting, and processing tobacco as well as transplanting, making counts, topping, suckering, weeding, and entering data. General farm duties include mowing grass, cleaning yards, cleaning buildings, painting, and repairing water lines.

Perform general farm maintenance and assist other researchers in peanut and vegetable research. Specific tobacco duties include transplanting, making counts, topping and suckering, weeding, harvesting tobacco leaves, loading and unloading curing barns, weighing cured leaf samples, grinding cured leaf samples and entering data. General farm duties include mowing grass, cleaning yards, cleaning buildings, painting, and repairing water lines.

Physical requirements include working outdoors, bending, lifting, digging, and walking. Some activities are performed during extreme weather conditions.
