FOOD SERVICE WORKER/CASHIER (FULL TIME) at Chartwells School Dining Services K12. We are hiring immediately for full time FOOD SERVICE WORKER/CASHIER positions. Location: Kipp - 3190 Northwest 116th Street, Miami, FL 33167. Note: online applications accepted only. Schedule: Full time. Monday through Friday, hours may vary; more details upon interview. Requirement: Cashier and food server experience are preferred. Fixed Pay Range: $14.00 per hour. Internal Employee Referral Bonus Available. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Performs cashiering duties and sales transactions; enters sales into the cash register to ensure purchases are accurately recorded; makes change and accepts declining balance cards and other acceptable forms of payment; issues receipts and processes refunds as per standard procedures. Performs prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting and seeding fruits and vegetables; weighs and measures designated ingredients. Carries pans, kettles and trays of food to and from work stations, stove and refrigerator in accordance with safety standards; distributes supplies, utensils and portable equipment. Stores foods in designated areas in accordance with wrapping, dating, food safety and rotation procedures. Cleans work areas, equipment and utensils; ensures compliance with sanitation and safety requirements. Uses approved recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures and standard portion control. Serves customers in a friendly, efficient manner; interacts with customers and resolves customer complaints in a service-oriented manner. Relays relevant information to supervisor. Replenishes condiments, beverages and general supplies while maintaining service area cleanliness. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications
