Water/Wastewater Engineer

to join our team at our HQ in

Jackson, Mississippi . The focus of this position is providing planning, design, and technical assistance to the Discipline Manager and other members of the design team in delivering projects within budgetary and time constraints. Key Responsibilities

Perform engineering analyses and evaluations (primarily computer-based) in support of civil works projects. Design water distribution systems, water supply and treatment components, sanitary sewer systems, and related systems. Assess and evaluate existing system conditions and develop remedial measures. Maintain communication with clients throughout project development and completion. Conduct project status reviews with the project team, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Attend project management meetings. Assist in preparing engineering studies and reports. Provide technical guidance and training to team members. Prepare project designs using engineering software and principles. Assist in preparing contract documents and specifications. Ensure quality control procedures are followed. Maintain responsibility for work accuracy and adherence to codes. Provide leadership, guidance, and mentoring to engineering staff. Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering. 4+ years of related design experience, with knowledge of relevant laws and regulations. Professional Engineer (PE) license in Mississippi required; licensure in contiguous states desirable. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MS Office; knowledge of Deltek system preferred. Strong communication skills and understanding of sustainable infrastructure principles. Benefits
