Texas A&M University The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, College of Engineering at Texas A&M University invites applications for one full time tenure track faculty at the assistant professor position with a 9-month academic appointment, and the possibility of an additional summer appointment contingent upon need and availability of funds, beginning fall of 2026. The successful applicant will teach both at the undergraduate and graduate level; engage in research activities; advise and mentor students; engage in both internal and external service activities within the general areas of bioelectronics; participate in all aspects of the department’s activities; and serve the profession. Consideration will be given to Electrical and Computer Engineering candidates with strong expertise in the broad area of bioelectronics, with application areas related to: neurotechnology, brain-machine interfaces, neuro-prosthetics, neuromodulation multimodal sensing for precision healthcare AI/ML for digital health, wearable devices and personalized medicine Preference will be given to candidates with strong expertise in foundational research at the interface of electronic devices and body/organ/tissues and modeling of such interactions. Applicants must have a doctoral degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering or a closely related engineering or science discipline. Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
