Full-Time 1099 Contract Position Summary The Remote School Psychologist will provide psychological assessment, intervention, consultation, and support to students, families, and school personnel. This role requires someone licensed in Kentucky with experience in educational and mental health services who can effectively work remotely to support student success. Responsibilities
Conduct virtual psychological and educational assessments, including cognitive, behavioral, and social-emotional evaluations Interpret assessment results and provide recommendations for academic and behavioral interventions Collaborate with teachers, parents, administrators, and community resources to support student needs Participate in the development, implementation, and monitoring of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans Provide crisis intervention and mental health support as necessary Deliver consultation and training to school staff regarding student mental health and behavior management Maintain confidential records and documentation in compliance with FERPA and Kentucky state regulations Attend virtual meetings, including IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions Stay current with best practices in school psychology and telehealth services Qualifications
Education: Specialist-level degree (Ed.S., Ph.D., or Psy.D.) in School Psychology from an accredited program Licensure:
Valid Kentucky School Psychologist Certification or License
Experience:
At least 12 years of school-based psychological services experience Experience with telehealth or remote service delivery preferred
Skills:
Strong assessment and diagnostic skills Excellent communication and collaboration abilities Knowledge of Kentucky special education laws and regulations Proficient in virtual platforms and assessment tools
