Position Summary
Assists the head coach with goalkeeper coaching as well as game-day and practice preparation. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The assistant coach (goalkeeper) is charged with working with the head coach—specifically goalkeeper coaching. The assistant coach must strictly adhere to all rules and regulations set forth by the College and the Northeast Conference, an NCAA Division I Conference. The assistant coach may also be charged with other duties as assigned by either their respective head coach or by the Director of Athletics. Education and/or Experience
Successful candidate must have bachelor’s degree. Preferred Qualifications
Previous collegiate soccer coaching or club/ AAU coaching experience preferred. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Physical Demands While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is exposed to outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
