Overview

We're looking for an admitted attorney for a Post-Conviction Relief Attorney position within a premier law firm with opportunities for growth. This role focuses on post-conviction relief and offers experience in both criminal and immigration law, based in the Victorville area. The Post-Conviction Relief Attorney will report to the Supervising Attorney and manage their caseload, client interaction, and collaborate with the Post-Conviction Relief Team of Attorneys and legal assistants. Responsibilities

Advise clients on their legal rights and draft legal documents related to their case Handle post-conviction relief cases, including motions to vacate, expungements, motions to reduce, and early termination of probation Interact with both criminal and immigration practices; immigration law experience is desirable but not required Attend motion hearings on behalf of clients and advise clients on strategies after hearings Manage open criminal cases including arraignments, pre-trials, pleas, and sentencing for other criminal attorneys within the firm Manage court appearances, draft motions, interview clients, and conduct legal research Analyze probable outcomes using knowledge of legal precedents Manage workload of cases and provide legal analysis for clients to determine potential benefits Qualifications

Criminal defense experience or immigration law experience Experience handling criminal cases at the state and local level Team player willing to collaborate with fellow associates Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required Strong interpersonal skills Pay

Pay Range: $80,000 to $110,000 annual salary Pay ranges may be exceeded depending on experience on a case-by-case basis. About The United Firm A.P.C.
