THIS IS A NON-TENURE TRACK, PART-TIME 70% POSITION LOCATED IN KNOXVILLE, TN. The UT Graduate School of Medicine seeks a part-time (70% FTE) non-tenure track Assistant Professor to serve as Fellowship Director of the Pulmonary and Critical Care Program in Knoxville, TN. The role involves ensuring program compliance with ACGME standards, overseeing procedural training, and contributing to patient care and physician education. Responsibilities
Participate in didactic and procedural training of fellows. Conduct fellow evaluations, case discussions, and simulation training. Ensure adherence to ACGME Core Competencies. Develop and update curriculum aligned with accreditation standards. Teaching
Provide direct instruction and procedural oversight. Research Opportunities
Support clinical research and case reports led by residents and fellows. Engage in quality improvement projects related to Pulmonary and Critical Care. Administrative Duties
Participate in faculty meetings, review committees, and required evaluations. Qualifications
MD or DO from an accredited institution. Minimum five years of Pulmonary and Critical Care experience preferred. Proven teaching effectiveness and engagement in academic programs. Board certification in Pulmonary and Critical Care (ABIM). Active Tennessee Medical License. About the Institution
