Fusion Academy is a revolutionary private school for grades 6-12 offering one student to one teacher classrooms. We are currently seeking History and English Teachers and Tutors to join our team, where students partner with teachers for personalized education and growth. We welcome applicants from diverse backgrounds and emphasize compassion, inclusion, and professional collaboration across campuses. Responsibilities
Provide student-centered, supportive classrooms that promote compassion, tolerance, emotional security, resourcefulness, and independent critical thinking. Address the individual academic and emotional needs of each student through Fusion''s differentiated approach. Teach middle and high school students one-to-one in English Composition, Literature, Language Arts, World and U.S. History, Government, and Economics (grades 6-12). Listen to students, peers, and managers to develop and support meaningful learning journeys. Adapt differentiated instruction for all students and create a classroom forum for holistic growth. Fuse academic and social-emotional objectives into engaging lessons. Foster trust with students, peers, and campus leadership. Mentor students to become lifelong learners and leaders. Develop and nurture genuine, positive, and consistent parent-teacher communication. Contribute to and benefit from the campus community. Maintain professional standards through ongoing professional development, reflection, and continuous improvement. Maintain complete and accurate records of student progress. Create a schedule that works best for you and your students. Bring your best self to work and continually strive for excellence. What You Will Bring To Fusion
A minimum of a Bachelor''s degree with background in English and History. A collaborative and exploratory approach to learning. A passion for English and History and the desire to share it with others. A willingness to try innovative approaches to help students learn. A compassionate, tolerant, patient mindset. A flexible schedule to accommodate student needs. Strong time-management and organizational skills. Calm under pressure with self-regulation and a positive outlook. A judgement-free mindset, curiosity, and compassion in responses and actions. A willingness to be trained and prepared to teach and tutor material at a high school level immediately. Great To Have But Not Required
A teaching certification. Previous teaching or tutoring experience. Experience with students with learning differences and ADHD; mentoring experience is a plus. What We Offer
