Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role located in Plano, TX for a Corporate Sales Specialist – EV Charging Partnerships. The Corporate Sales Specialist will be responsible for developing and managing corporate sales strategies, engaging in business development activities, negotiating partnerships, and driving sales growth. This role requires daily interaction with potential clients and partners to secure deals and expand the company's market presence in the EV charging sector. In this role, you’ll identify, engage, and secure multi-site acquisition opportunities for EV charger installations. You’ll build strong, trust-based relationships with corporate stakeholders and work closely with our internal deployment and operations teams to ensure smooth project execution.

Key Responsibilities

Corporate Relations & Account Management:

Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers at large corporations and franchise groups; Serve as the primary point of contact for strategic partners; Conduct regular account reviews to track performance and identify expansion opportunities; Deliver an exceptional client experience to ensure long-term partnerships and renewals.

Sales & Business Development:

Prospect and acquire new corporate accounts to drive large-scale site acquisition opportunities for EV charger deployment; Develop and execute sales strategies that align with Universal EV Chargers’ growth goals and revenue targets; Conduct high-impact presentations and proposal meetings tailored to each client’s business model; Negotiate partnership terms, site agreements, and contracts to close deals efficiently; Partner with the marketing and business development teams to identify and nurture qualified leads; Work closely with the deployment, engineering, and finance teams to align client expectations with operational feasibility; Track performance metrics and provide regular reports and sales forecasts to leadership; Stay informed on EV infrastructure trends, grant programs (NEVI, CFI, utility rebates), and competitor activity; Leverage market intelligence to identify new verticals such as hospitality, retail, gas stations, municipalities, and fleets; Represent Universal EV Chargers at trade shows, sustainability events, and industry conferences.

Qualifications & Skills

Proven experience in

B2B or corporate sales , ideally within EV charging, energy, telecom, or commercial real estate.

Demonstrated success in building partnerships and managing multi-site or multi-location sales.

Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills, with the ability to navigate complex corporate structures.

Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Highly self‑motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.

Proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce or similar) and standard business software (Microsoft 365, Google Workspace).

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred.

Willingness to travel

regionally and nationally for client meetings, site visits, and events (approx. 25–40%).
