Regional Sales Manager - Midwest . The primary objective is to promote, grow, and support the sales and business development of IMI products in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with a focus on results and delivering superior solutions for customers in the assigned region. This role centers on driving growth for advanced control valves with digital capabilities and automation; targets include mechanical and controls contractors, manufacturers’ reps/distributors, designers for specification work, and OEMs. The role involves proactive networking, attending trade shows, engaging with leads, and building strong industry relationships. This is a remote role with 50%+ annual travel to customers, trade shows, and events. Work location: Candidates can reside in the territory including IL, MO, KS, IN, OH, KY, WI, MN. Drive business development within the assigned region using a consultative, value-based sales approach to identify and close opportunities Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, industry stakeholders, and rep companies to support product promotion and market expansion Provide technical and commercial support for complex projects, including product training and customized solutions Represent IMI at trade shows, industry events, and networking opportunities; participate in presentations and seminars Monitor and analyze key projects, market trends, and competitor activity; communicate insights to leadership Use CRM tools to track customer interactions, opportunities, and results Provide accurate sales forecasts and contribute to regional sales goals Support customer needs throughout the sales cycle, from pre-order to post-installation Participate in continuous improvement, safety programs, and internal training Critical Competencies and Qualifications

Four-year degree in Business Administration, Engineering (HVAC, Mechanical, Electrical), Construction Project Management, or related field required; MBA preferred At least 3+ years of manufacturing sales management experience preferred Experience with or knowledge of hydronic balancing valves and HVAC flow control preferred Willingness to travel based on business needs; estimated annual travel up to 75% Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with manufacturers’ representatives, distributors, contractors, engineering firms, and other sales prospects Experience in product training and customer presentations; proven history of meeting sales quotas Highly organized, internally driven, team player with excellent written and verbal communication Must have a valid Driver’s License; English reading/writing/speaking required Compensation and Benefits

Pay range:

$125,000 - $145,000

annually. Within this range, pay is determined by skills, experience, and qualifications. Base pay may be aligned with market location and applicable wage laws.
