The Sales Associate sets the standard of quality in eye care and eyewear by ensuring every patient and customer has the best experience in every LensCrafters visit. This role helps establish LensCrafters as the premier destination for all vision needs in the community. Responsibilities
Consistently deliver sales plan and company objectives through cultivating existing customer relationships and building new ones. Utilizes optical prescriptions to recommend specific lenses and coatings. Assist patients in the selection of frames and coordinate frames with optical measurements to help customers choose the ideal vision solution. Conduct measurements using appropriate optical tools and consult with the Optician as needed. Contribute to a positive store environment and foster professional relationships with peers, management, doctors and support staff. Maintain the appearance of the store; keep displays and inventory clean, attractive and organized. Foster an inclusive culture by treating customers and colleagues with respect. Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED 1+ years experience in retail or customer service Familiarity with point-of-sale systems, computers and calculators with basic math skills Comfort with embracing new technology and change with a high level of accuracy Ability to sell through effective sales skills and accountability for results; motivated to meet goals Strong communication skills (oral and written) Self-motivated with the ability to multi-task and adapt in a quickly changing environment Compensation & Benefits
Pay Range: 15.34 - 20.98 per hour. Employee pay is determined by various factors including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements. May offer a competitive bonus and/or commission plan as part of a total rewards package. Benefits may include health care, retirement savings, paid time off/vacation, and employee discounts.
