Position Overview
Revel Communities is seeking a dynamic
Independent Living Sales Specialist
to increase occupancy rates across our independent living communities. This role is pivotal in driving sales initiatives, building lasting relationships, and achieving community-specific sales objectives. Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing, the Sales Specialist will collaborate closely with Regional Vice Presidents of Operations and Community Leadership teams. Assignments will typically range from 1 to 4 weeks at various community locations.
Key Responsibilities
Sales and Occupancy Growth
Achieve monthly sales targets by effectively managing the sales process from inquiry to move-in.
Conduct engaging tours, respond promptly to inquiries, and maintain consistent follow-up to convert leads into residents.
Database and Reporting Management
Review CRM data regularly to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
Hold teams accountable for CRM usage and sales process compliance.
Training & Engagement
Coaches Executive Directors and Sales teams on sales best practices and strategies to drive revenue and growth.
Supports the hiring, onboarding, and ongoing training of Sales team members.
Coordinate and participate in community outreach events, special luncheons, and promotional activities to attract potential residents.
Collaboration and Communication
Work cross-functionally with operations to execute occupancy strategy and ensure a seamless move-in experience.
Attend daily stand-up meetings to align on appointments, events, and advertising efforts.
Market Analysis
Evaluate competitive offerings in the market to inform pricing strategies and value propositions.
Provide weekly and monthly forecasts and data analyses as requested by leadership.
Requirements This is a hybrid role with the expectation you will be working from one of our communities when you are not traveling. Must live in one of our markets - Seattle, Spokane, Sacramento, Las Vegas, Reno, Scottsdale, Palm Desert, Colorado Springs/Denver, Eagle/Boise.
Minimum of three years' experience in a senior living sales role with a proven track record of success; independent living sales experience preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software, particularly Welcome Home.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple assignments and communities effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on building relationships with prospects, families, and community teams.
Valid driver's license and the ability to
travel up to 80%
of the time by air or car, including evenings and weekends as needed.
