Technical Education Sales Specialist – Houston, TX At Vontier, we are looking for a Technical Education Sales Specialist to drive sales and build brand loyalty within technical education and commercial accounts in the Houston, TX area.

What You Will Do:

Acquire and develop sales revenue at assigned technical education and commercial accounts within the assigned territory.

Establish customer engagement and brand loyalty with administrators, instructors, and students through in‑person activity at key account locations.

Make one‑on‑one and classroom presentations, provide information, close sales, and perform customer service for prospective customers.

Manage on‑site merchandising, product displays, and the professional appearance of Matco Tools kiosks.

Maintain regular contact with staff/students at assigned key accounts using on‑site kiosks and classroom settings.

Manage localized sales promotions and motorsports activity events to drive exposure and meet/exceed planned results at assigned locations.

Qualifications:

Produce quotes, close sales, and enter orders using current methods and systems.

Full responsibility for customer credit card, cash management, and transactional accuracy.

Timely and effective follow‑up on all RFQs.

Provide on‑site accessibility for students and administrators on mutually agreeable schedules.

Consignment and budget product management for all display, promotion, trade show, special event, and demonstration products.

Maintain a 5S workplace environment in kiosks and at customer events.

Participate in development and execution of short‑and long‑term sales and marketing strategies with the Business Development Manager, Key Accounts, and/or Sr. Manager of Commercial Sales.

Compensation: Base salary range: $60,000 per annum. Actual base salary will be determined based on relevant experience, skills, location, credentials, and internal equity.

Commission plan: 3% to 5% of sales.
