We are seeking a
Private Client Account Manager
to deliver exceptional service to our clients by managing an assigned portfolio of accounts. This role is critical in ensuring client satisfaction, retention, and the growth of Gallagher’s value proposition. Reporting to the Client Service Director or Supervisor, you will play a key role in achieving business outcomes and fostering a culture of excellence. Key Responsibilities:
Client Management:
Build and maintain strong client relationships through exceptional service and proactive account management. Renewals & Sales:
Lead the renewal process, secure existing business, and drive the sale of additional services and coverage lines. Problem-Solving:
Resolve client issues promptly and effectively, escalating when necessary. Market Expertise:
Develop strong relationships with carriers and identify the best markets for specific risks. Operational Excellence:
Meet service timelines, leverage systems for efficiency, and ensure compliance with standards. Team Collaboration:
Support Producers/Account Executives and coach Client Service Associates to foster growth and development. Data Accuracy:
Maintain accurate client and policy data within Gallagher systems. What We’re Looking For:
Proven experience in account management, client service, or a related field. Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining high-quality service. Knowledge of insurance markets and risk management solutions is a plus. Required: Bachelor's degree with 3+ years client service and/or claims management experience OR High School diploma/GED with 8+ years client service and/or claims management experience. Producer's License. Ability to travel up to 25% of the time. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Appropriate licensing as required. Preferred: Previous insurance knowledge and experience managing client relationships. Solid financial acumen. Behaviors: Proficient in using technology as a tool to maximize productivity and quality. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Comfortably engages others in consultative discussion. Effectively manages multiple and sometimes competing priorities. We offer a competitive and comprehensive compensation package. The base salary range represents the anticipated low end and high end of the range for this position. The actual compensation will be influenced by experience, education, pay market/geography, complexity or scope, specialty, lines of business/practice area, and hours.
