Overview
This is a permanent PART-TIME role estimating 8-12 hours per week, for all stores, depending on store size and project requirements. Retail Scan Associates visit a designated selection of stores each week to scan all product barcodes on displays and in aisle locations, including aisle end caps. The data collected is analyzed and used to improve sales performance for the product and retailer (store). There will be continuous physical activity throughout the shift. A short video demonstrates daily tasks and job responsibilities. Being a Retail Scan Associate offers workplace independence, some flexibility in hours, and job consistency. Travel is paid at your hourly rate (minus first & last 15 minutes). Scan barcodes in designated stores using a downloadable app on a mobile phone. Inspect and record data from displays and shelves, including approximately 45% of products queried during scanning. Perform in-store data collections weekly for 52 weeks a year, including holiday weeks, across grocery, convenience, drug, pet, and mass merchandise stores. Complete Display Scanning in the store, which occurs weekly and may take several hours. Assist with Custom Projects as requested by clients, adding 30 minutes to 2 hours of work per store during weeks when required. Adhere to weekly deadlines and deliver high-quality data to clients. Qualifications
At least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license. Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance coverage. Ability to be on your feet for long periods and access products throughout the store. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, reach up to 6 feet, and bend/stretch/stoop/stand. Ability to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for prolonged periods. Attention to detail and ability to work independently. Must be a deadline-driven self-starter. Must have access to reliable Wi-Fi and be tech savvy. High school diploma or GED (preferred).
