What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Research and identify potential school and district partners, initiating outreach through calls, emails, and social media
Qualify prospects by understanding their needs and setting up appointments for Account Managers
Build relationships with educators and administrators to promote literacy and support school communities
Maintain accurate records of interactions in the CRM system and track progress toward sales goals
Collaborate with the sales team to refine strategies and improve lead generation efficiency
What is Required (Qualifications)
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or a related field
Minimum of three (3) years of proven successful sales experience in retail or territory sales, event management, and customer service
Proficiency with MS Office software and experience with Sales Automation or Customer Relationship Management systems
Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation abilities
Outstanding interpersonal skills with the capacity to build relationships with peers, superiors, and customers
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Familiarity with children’s literature, Book Fairs, and school activities
Proven leadership ability and qualities in a sales environment
Marketing and merchandising strategy expertise
Ability to execute a vision and manage multiple priorities efficiently
