Cat Care of Vinings is a feline-only, AAHA accredited, AAFP Cat Friendly Practice that serves the Vinings, Smyrna, and North West Atlanta communities. We offer extensive wellness care, as well as comprehensive care for chronically ill patients, full digital radiography, echocardiography, ultrasound imaging (including US guided biopsies and aspirates), top-of-the-line in-house laboratory diagnostics and gold standard oral health care (oral assessments, digital dental radiographs, FME, etc) and medical grooming procedures. Reporting into the Practice Manager, the Client Service Representative (CSR) provides an exceptional experience to our clients during every interaction. In addition to continually engaging the client, the CSR performs practice administrative tasks such as record maintenance and appointment tracking. The CSR manages practice reception (visitor and telephone), maintenance of veterinary medical records, accounts maintenance, cash processing, data entry, word processing and mail services. The CSR applies practical knowledge of practice processes and services, the basic rules and regulations governing visitors and animal patient treatment, and veterinary record requirements and terminology to ensure every patient is well-cared for and every client has an exceptional experience. The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of customer service experience as required. Previous experience in a veterinary hospital setting is preferred. Competencies

Communicating: Convey instructions to clients and teammates to ensure successful patient care. Active Listening: Follow doctors\' instructions and anticipate needs based on experience and feedback. Organization: Track lab specimens, medications, patient instructions, workflow, and other items while managing multiple patients and clients. Client Satisfaction: Ensure all activities and interactions result in the highest level of client satisfaction. Essential Responsibilities
Lead practice opening and closing procedures per Practice Manager instructions and procedures. Ensure all public areas are clean and presentable; maintain front desk, reception, waiting area, office, public bathrooms and exam rooms. Process cash, checks, credit card payments and credit account payments. Schedule appointments adhering to practice and Doctor preferences and ensure appropriate workflow. Assist in updating client/patient files as needed. Prepare and send client correspondence. Send reminder notices and conduct follow-ups to clients in a timely manner. Perform regular backups of the computer system as directed. Post daily business and oversee day-to-day transactions. Welcome clients and patients with a warm, friendly demeanor and ensure an excellent experience during visits. Answer incoming telephone calls with proper etiquette. Present clients with medications, instructions, new client kits and any take-home items. Handle emergency situations with care and in line with clinic policies. Address client concerns calmly to ensure satisfaction. Requirements / Qualifications
Ability to work on weekends as required 1 year of customer service experience High school diploma or equivalent Previous veterinary experience preferred Client satisfaction references preferred OSHA safety techniques including proper PPE Benefits Offered
