Overview
Temporary Engineer, Systems & Infrastructure Administrator (Bilingual English/Spanish) – Nine-month assignment with KPMG US. This role is part of the Digital Nexus technology organization and focuses on server infrastructure administration for enterprise applications running Windows and Linux. Responsibilities
Provide administration, maintenance, configuration, and ongoing support of server infrastructure hosting Enterprise Applications running Windows and Linux Resolve complex enterprise system hardware and software problems; collaborate with peer teams and vendors to coordinate solutions Develop and maintain installation and configuration procedures; interface with business clients and technology staff to implement solutions that meet business needs and assess the impact of new or revised applications on existing infrastructure; including the installation and testing of new enterprise system software and hardware releases Work directly with users to prioritize requests and frequently update users to inform them of progress and estimated delivery timeframe Coordinate support escalation communication and participate in the development and maintenance of project technical documentation including design, configuration, and installation Coordinate end-to-end application testing, defect management, change and release management and escalation processes; provide on-call production support including off-hours and weekend support Provide patching operations support to Latin America member firms Qualifications
Minimum one year of recent experience operating in a large enterprise environment; understanding of systems at scale; technical skills in Windows Server and Linux; working knowledge of SANs Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred; full fluency in both English and Spanish required Proficiency in Microsoft technologies including IIS, Microsoft Cluster Service, Certificates and PowerShell; experience with VMware vSphere and Cisco UCS platform administration is a plus; strong troubleshooting skills using Windows OS tools Ability to automate routine tasks via PowerShell and Python; experience deploying software across the server estate Experience with Datadog, SCOM, Qualys, and ServiceNow is a plus Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future (no sponsorship available) KPMG LLP and its affiliates comply with all local/state regulations regarding displaying salary ranges.
