Overview
Technical Support Engineer, Power Systems — Bentley Systems, Inc. is seeking a self-starting individual to join its EasyPower team as a Technical Support Engineer. You will be part of the technical support team providing high-quality software and engineering support to customers. You will talk to customers directly and create written documentation, requiring excellent written and verbal communication skills. Responsibilities
Take ownership of customer issues reported and see problems through to resolution Research, diagnose, troubleshoot and identify solutions to resolve customer issues Follow standard procedures for proper escalation of unresolved issues to the appropriate internal teams Provide prompt and accurate feedback to customers Ensure proper recording and closure of all issues Prepare accurate and timely reports Create knowledge base including technical notes, and articles Develop and demonstrate expertise in Bentley\'s Electric Utilities software products Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent work experience 1-2 years related experience Demonstrated proficiency with all modern Windows operating systems Comfortable troubleshooting software and network problems Strong oral and written communication skills Requires sitting or standing at will while performing work on a computer; the role requires communication with managers, peers and other colleagues in person and via Microsoft Teams Desired Experience
Microsoft SQL Server experience Experience with Knowledge Centered Support Excellent attention to detail Experience with power systems or using power system design and analysis software About Bentley Systems
