Our client, TEKsystems c/o Allegis Group, is seeking a Windows Systems Administrator. The successful candidate will have secret clearance and CompTIA Security+ certification. Location:
Vicksburg, MS Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8-hour shift between 6AM-6PM Clearance:

What You'll Do As a Windows Systems Administrator, you'll be the go-to expert for server operations, infrastructure support, and technical leadership. Your day-to-day will include: Administering and optimizing Windows Server environments (physical & virtual) Leading change management efforts and writing Change Requests Managing file permissions and supporting secure data storage Transitioning enterprise solutions into production Acting as the primary point of contact for server, network, and telecom issues Coordinating vulnerability remediation and Level 3 support Escalating VIP and after-hours support requests Overseeing team schedules, performance, and service delivery metrics Collaborating with IT leadership to meet user needs and drive results What You Bring To The Table Technical Mastery in Windows Server 2012/2016, VMware, Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, Group Policy, DFS, NTFS permissions, Kerberos, LDAP, and basic networking (TCP/IP, routing, SSH, OpenVPN) Leadership Experience managing teams and service delivery Problem-Solving Mindset with strong analytical and decision-making skills Experience with ServiceNow or similar ticketing systems Education: BA/BS (or 4 additional years of experience in lieu of degree) Why You'll Love This Role Mission-Driven Work
