RTX provides advanced systems and services for defense and government. This role ensures smooth operation of classified network infrastructure at our Tucson location. What you will Do

Maintain smooth operation of voice and data networks, planning and installing hardware/software. Develop technical expertise in voice/data networks hardware/software interconnection including switches, routers, firewalls, authentication servers, encryptors. Use network management software platforms. Propose solutions to optimize cost savings, redundancy, and uptime. Prepare or ensure appropriate network documentation exists. Provide regular monitoring and network analysis. Assist with coordination of third‑party maintenance and vendor support. Work outside normal hours (evenings/weekends) as needed. Follow established procedures under general supervision. Obtain Security+ within 6 months and CCNA within a year (training provided). What you will Learn

Apply Network Engineering skills to defense‑oriented programs. Obtain Security+ and CCNA certifications with training provided. Qualifications You Must Have

University/bachelor’s degree; less than 2 years relevant experience, OR minimum 4 years of relevant Network/IT Systems Administration experience. Experience with networking equipment such as Cisco routers/switches/firewalls, intrusion detection systems, software upgrades. Active U.S. government issued security clearance requirement prior to start date; U.S. citizenship required for clearance. Qualifications We Prefer

Cisco ISE experience with 802.1X, SolarWinds, setting up client/server environments for government networks. Security+ and/or CCNA certifications currently active. Experience with current cabling and fiber standards. Experience with ACL, security posture, vendor best practices. Visio diagramming and design capabilities. 1‑2 years of experience with network management software. Willingness to travel domestically as needed. Knowledge of encryption device configuration and troubleshooting. Effective customer service skills, oral and written communication. Experience with IP telephony, NTP servers, GemOne, SolarWinds. Ability to work under time constraints. Experience with classified computing, STIG compliance, network refreshes. Current DoD Top Secret clearance (current Top Secret optional). What We Offer
