Overview

Systems and Integration Test Engineer - Marine Fab at Vigor Marine Group. This role focuses on systems engineering, integration, test verification, and MBSE activities within marine fabrication and related programs. The position requires collaboration with customers, subcontractors, and internal teams to verify requirements and manage interfaces. Base pay range

$136,000.00/yr - $170,000.00/yr Responsibilities

Collaborate with customers and internal stakeholders to execute requirements verification analyses and tests. Develop and maintain Requirements Databases reflecting stated and derived requirements. Develop and maintain a Requirements Verification Matrix showing methods to verify compliance. Lead System Requirements Reviews with Customers and Subcontractors. Develop and maintain documentation for interface management and requirements verification processes. Build and maintain a program/project interface register with parties, action owners, status, and critical dates. Report on interface and requirements verification status and identify issues impacting budget, schedule, or quality. Proactively develop solutions to issues and maintain traceability for issues and status. Communicate risks to the program management team. Build and maintain a Requirements Verification Traceability Matrix (source, detail, verification method, status). Review subcontracts to ensure scope clarity, including exclusions; resolve conflicts related to scope. Support Critical Design Review (CDR) development. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate technical information. Experience with complex DoD programs required. Familiarity with contracts, subcontracts, and technical specifications required. Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to manage, mentor, and motivate a team. Proficiency with software packages (e.g., MATLAB, DOORS, CAD, MS Excel). Must be able to hold a DoD SECRET level clearance. Education and/or Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Engineering Physics, Chemical Engineering, Naval Architecture, or related field. Minimum ten (10) years of experience in a heavy industrial environment; maritime/shipbuilding experience preferred. Certifications, Licenses and Registrations

None required. Work Environment

On-site; travel up to 10% locally and up to 5% out-of-town with notice. This position requires working onsite 5 days per week and may require time in production areas. Citizenship
