A well-established Los Angeles, California personal injury firm is seeking a Pre-Litigation Managing Attorney to take charge of high-value cases and lead a dedicated pre-litigation team. This role focuses on moving cases efficiently through pre-litigation, shaping case strategies, overseeing settlements, and ensuring seamless client communication. The attorney will manage multiple case manager teams, provide direction on complex files, and act as the primary decision-maker for case progress. The ideal candidate is a plaintiff-side attorney with extensive personal injury experience, strong leadership ability, and a proven track record of mentoring and guiding teams. Salary Range:
$150,000 - $200,000 / year DOE Pre-Litigation Managing Attorney Responsibilities
Oversee all pre-litigation case progress and ensure timely resolution Guide and review high-value case strategies and settlement negotiations Communicate with clients regarding complex settlement matters Supervise and mentor multiple case manager teams with four direct reports Review and approve reduction requests on settlements Collaborate with litigation attorneys for smooth case handoffs Maintain quality standards across all casework Act as the HR contact for the pre-litigation team Pre-Litigation Managing Attorney Requirements
8+ years of plaintiff-side personal injury law experience Minimum 3 years in a supervisory or management role Active license and barred in California Strong proficiency with Microsoft Word and Outlook Onsite presence required, five days a week Excellent client communication and team leadership skills Spanish language ability preferred but not required Benefits
