Req#: 3970223 Open Until Filled GENERAL DESCRIPTION: The Wyoming Attorney General's Office is seeking an attorney to provide professional legal representation to the Department of Family Services. The representation of the Department of Family Services will include representation of the Agency in appeals to the Wyoming Supreme Court; termination of parental rights cases; guardianships; contested case matters pertaining to child abuse or neglect substantiations and/or vulnerable adult neglect or abuse substantiations; subpoenas; rules and practices involving and affecting the Child Support Program and the Wyoming Children’s Trust Fund. In addition, this attorney will advise the Department of Family Services on legal matters on a day-to-day basis, provide legal advice, and review administrative rules and regulations. The Attorney General’s office provides attorneys an opportunity to receive mentorship, develop expertise, and excel at and utilize skills in a dynamic and collegial work environment while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. Advise agency clients with respect to relevant statutes and administrative procedures. Perform other duties as assigned.
