IT Manager
— Location: Shreveport, LA Salary: $85,000 + Benefits Position Overview:
We are seeking an
IT Manager
to lead all aspects of information technology across the organization. This role oversees infrastructure, systems security, hardware/software lifecycle management, and end-user support. The IT Manager will drive strategic upgrades, ensure HIPAA and cybersecurity compliance, and serve as a key partner in operational continuity and innovation. Key Responsibilities
Infrastructure & Systems Oversight
Manage and maintain all facility-wide IT systems, servers, networks, and endpoints Oversee installation, configuration, and upgrades of hardware and software Administer user accounts, permissions, and access controls across platforms Monitor system performance and proactively address vulnerabilities or inefficiencies
Security & Compliance
Ensure HIPAA compliance across all digital systems and data handling Implement and maintain enterprise-grade antivirus, malware protection, and firewalls Conduct regular audits of security protocols and access logs Develop and enforce IT policies, disaster recovery plans, and data retention schedules
Network & Device Management
Oversee wired and wireless network infrastructure, including cabling and routers Install and maintain camera systems, phones, printers, TVs, and other peripherals Manage inventory and lifecycle of all IT assets (workstations, mobile devices, etc.)
End-User Support & Training
Provide Tier 1–3 technical support to staff across departments Train employees on system use, cybersecurity awareness, and troubleshooting basics Maintain help desk documentation and ticketing system for issue tracking
Strategic Planning & Collaboration
Partner with leadership to evaluate and implement new technologies Support budgeting and procurement for IT-related projects and platforms Coordinate with external vendors and consultants as needed Participate in cross-functional planning for operational upgrades and compliance initiatives
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (preferred) 5–10 years of progressive IT experience, including supervisory or managerial roles Advanced knowledge of Windows and Mac OS environments, networking, and cloud platforms
