Prepare and review general ledger entries, account reconciliations, and month-end closing activities in accordance with GAAP Plan and execute internal/external audit assignments Prepare clear and concise audit work papers, findings, and recommendations Maintain and reconcile balance sheet and income statement accounts Prepare and file accurate and timely federal, state, and local tax returns (corporate, partnership, sales/use, property, etc.) Process biweekly, semi-monthly, or monthly payroll for hourly, salaried, and contract employees Qualifications
4+ years of public accounting experience in the U.S. required Experience in audits for churches, schools, non-profits, healthcare agencies, construction, and commercial entities Expertise in auditing, payroll, AR/AP Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related majors CPA preferred but not required Experience in preparation of Personal and Corporate Tax Returns (e.g., 1120C, 1120S, 1040, 1065, 990s) Strong technical skills (Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks, Drake and Caseware software) Summit Federal Services, LLC is an equal opportunity employer regardless of race, color, religion, creed, sex, marital status, national origin, disability, age, veteran status, on-the-job injury, sexual orientation, political affiliation or belief.
