CREDIT ANALYST - SPECIALTY LENDING We are looking for someone to join as a credit analyst supporting our specialty warehouse and equipment finance lending teams. This position offers a long-term career path in banking within a supportive team. POSITION SUMMARY:
Provides credit analysis for the warehouse lending and equipment finance teams, coordinates credit reviews, and monitors the warehouse and equipment finance portfolios. The candidate uses independent judgment to investigate credit requests and manage credit risk within the portfolio. Responsibilities
Analyzing financial data of clients/prospects and determining creditworthiness. Preparing loan reviews and presentations on clients/prospects. Assisting in the sales process and supporting credit risk monitoring. Underwriting and presenting credit committee materials while adhering to the bank’s policies. Coordinating the warehouse and equipment finance review and risk rating processes; assisting with facility documentation and portfolio administration; driving process improvements. Accountability/Responsibilities Details
Analyzing financial data of clients/prospects – 30%: Attend client/prospect meetings with Loan Officers, review financial statements and ratios, assess creditworthiness, and provide accurate information to Loan Officers based on third‑party reports. Preparing loan reviews/presentations – 30%: Obtain information for annual reviews, underwrite and present to credit committees, plan and coordinate reviews, and assist with documentation. Assisting in the sales process – 25%: Perform pre-call research, ensure CRM updates, and participate in prospect meetings to evaluate creditworthiness. Credit risk monitoring support – 15%: Prepare reports on portfolio quality/trends, monitor current client status, communicate issues, and recommend improvements to monitoring and reporting.
