Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) position available at FullShift Staffing, LLC. The role focuses on providing high‑quality nursing care to individuals with disabilities in Intermediate Care Facilities (ICF). This is a patient‑focused, team‑oriented position in a small, close‑knit community setting. Facility context
Facilities are Intermediate Care Facilities for individuals with disabilities (ICF/DD‑H and ICF/DD‑N). Caregiver (DSP) to residents typically 1:3, sometimes as high as 1:1. Nursing caseload typically ranges from 6–15 residents. Small home sizes, including 6‑bed and 15‑bed facilities. High‑acuity care is limited or not allowed by facility regulations. Facilities provide wound care per licensing requirements, from simple wounds up to stage I pressure ulcers. Hospice care is very limited and provided collaboratively with professional hospice care providers who visit the homes. Essential Responsibilities
Provide skilled nursing care to individuals with disabilities in an ICF setting. Implement and oversee residents’ health care plans. Administer medications and perform medical procedures as needed. Collaborate with a multi‑disciplinary team to ensure resident well‑being. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation. Offer support and guidance to Direct Support Professionals (DSP). Participate in complex case management and engage in continuous learning opportunities. Qualifications
Valid LVN license in the state of California. CPR certification. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Genuine passion for providing quality care and support to individuals with disabilities. Ability to work effectively in a team‑oriented environment.
