Overview
Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) needed at FullShift Staffing, LLC. Provide high-quality nursing care and support to individuals with disabilities in Intermediate Care Facilities (ICF). Provide skilled nursing care to individuals with disabilities in an ICF setting Implement and oversee health care plans for residents Administer medications and perform medical procedures as needed Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure resident well-being Maintain accurate medical records and documentation Offer support and guidance to Direct Support Professionals (DSP) Participate in complex case management and engage in continuous learning opportunities Qualifications
Valid Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license in the state of California CPR certification Strong communication and interpersonal skills A genuine passion for providing quality care to individuals with disabilities Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment Willingness to adapt to residents and facility needs Additional Information
Our facilities are Intermediate Care Facilities for individuals with disabilities (ICF/DD-H and ICF/DD-N). Caregiver to resident ratio typically 1:3, sometimes up to 1:1. Nursing caseload typically 6-15 residents. Facilities are small (6-bed to 15-bed). High-acuity care is limited by facility regulations. Wound care ranges from simple wounds to stage I pressure ulcers. Hospice care is very limited and provided collaboratively with professional hospice care providers.
