Our rapidly-expanding insurance agency is looking for a full-time life insurance agent to join our team! You’ll grow a list of prospective clients, market our insurance products, showcase our offerings to new customers, and help policyholders navigate the claims process. We’ll provide the support network and resources to help you reach – and exceed – your sales goals. Responsibilities
Expand our prospective customer base and market our insurance products via networking, referrals, cold calling, and various marketing strategies to bring in new business
Ensure all contracting paperwork is up to date while maintaining databases, records, and bookkeeping
Provide warm and professional customer service while onboarding new clients and maintaining existing clients, including booking appointments, inquiry responses, insurance eligibility, claim submissions, and questions concerning billing and insurance policies
Aid policyholders with the insurance claims process while supervising the progress of current insurance claims
Determine new customers’ insurance needs, desires, insurance risk, prior coverage, and financial standing via booked consultations to ensure the best client experience possible
Evaluate new customers’ insurance needs, insurance risk, existing coverage, long-term goals, and financial status through consultations to create a tailored experience that exceeds expectations
Grow new business by generating a prospective client base via networking, referrals, and other marketing strategies
Stay abreast of insurance industry protocols and policy changes to ensure fulfillment of all policy requirements, continuing education, and monitor insurance portfolios to ensure mutual satisfaction
Attend training and obtain relevant licenses in a timely manner
Qualifications
Current Life & Health insurance license is greatly valued
Prior health insurance or life insurance experience a bonus
Previous customer service or experience as a sales representative preferred
Strong interpersonal and communication skills are a must
High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
Highly self-motivated and self-disciplined with the ability to work effectively and independently
Outgoing personality with the ability to develop relationships and a sincere desire to help others
Compensation Compensation:
$75,000-$95,000 per year
