Responsibilities

Directs the activities of security officers in assigned zones of responsibility in accordance with the company policies and the Casino Control Act.

Acts to protect and safeguard assets of patrons, employees and the company.

Schedules and coordinates security activities.

Conducts inquiries and investigations assigned into alleged instances of malfeasance or misconduct.

Conducts themselves in accordance with CCC and DGE regulations, departmental procedures and company policies.

Prepares detailed incident or investigation reports in a clear and precise manner.

Reviews videotape and make composites as assigned.

Directs and delegates responsibilities to the Security officers in that all security posts and rovers are in proper uniform and that all security officers are aware of policy changes and special events on a daily basis.

Testifies in court or gives depositions on incidents.

Attends mandatory meetings.

Controls restricted keys.

Coordinate activities with local and state law enforcement officials.

Evaluates security officers.

Trains security officers in CCC and DGE regulations, departmental procedures and company policies.

Promotes positive public relations.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

College degree, may substitute additional experience for degree.

Strong computer, verbal and written communication, and customer service skills.

Minimum one (1) year of Security experience in a casino / hotel environment or related commercial Security experience in similar field or in law enforcement or other emergency response agency

Valid New Jersey Driver’s License, excellent driving record & ability to operate a motor vehicle.
