Essential Functions:
Use engineering drawings to assemble HVAC units/sub-assemblies.
May be required to perform simple wire connections, per drawings, etc.
Ability to use an assortment of hand/power tools.
Keeps equipment and work area clean and orderly.
Complete unit paperwork and Quality Control (QC) checklist.
Reporting of defective equipment to Supervisor.
Gain knowledge of applicable health and safety legislation as well as plant safety rules to perform duties safely and in compliance with all KCC rules and regulations.
Participate in toolbox talks & monthly training.
Take every reasonable precaution for the protection of your coworkers.
Take immediate action to address unsafe acts or conditions and report issues to management.
Assist in accident investigations (as needed) to identify the root cause in a timely manner.
Complete accident and incident reports (near miss) in a timely manner.
Qualifications / Skills:
Minimum of a High School Diploma or Equivalent

Maintains a great attendance record
Safety / Physical Requirements:
Stand: Frequently
Walk: Frequently
Sit: Occasionally

Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distant vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
Follow established safety policies including, but not limited to, mobile equipment, PPE, emergency response, HAZCOM, first-aid response, etc.
