Start: January 2025 (potentially sooner for the right person) A family in Mill Valley is seeking a calm, nurturing nanny to care for their 2.5-year-old son. He will be in preschool three mornings per week (Mon, Wed, Fri). Responsibilities include picking him up from school, planning age-appropriate activities, engaging in play, preparing his meals and snacks, child laundry, light tidying and running errands. Their son has a speech delay, so it's important this person be fluent in English and can help him progress. Ideally this person is flexible and open to working more hours in the summer when their son is not in school. Ultimately the best person for them is someone kind, active, and looking to grow with the family. TENTATIVE SCHEDULE : Tuesdays and Thursdays 10 a.m. to 6/7 p.m. Mon, Wed, Fri 1 or 4 p.m. to 6/7 p.m. (start time in the afternoon TBD based on when he finishes school) Experience Requirements
2 years minimum experience working as a private nanny with excellent verifiable references Educational Requirements
Fluency in English Qualifications
COVID-vaccinated TB and Tdap vaccinated CPR Certified Valid driver with clean record (family can provide a household car for work-related driving) Someone who wants to grow with the family and is open to caring for more than just one child Newborn, infant and toddler experience Comfortable with a cat in the home Physically able to lift 40lbs. and easily go up and down stairs (there are 60 steps from driveway to the home) Comfortable with a stay-at-home parent coming and going Calm, nurturing, kind, soft spoken Can make at least a year commitment, ideally longer for a great fit Responsibilities
