Job Description: The Department of Humanities and Social Sciences seeks candidates with expertise in one or more areas to teach introductory and intermediate History courses for the 2025-2026 academic year. Requirements: MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Master's degree in History or a related field from an accredited institution or foreign equivalent. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Experience teaching at the college level. Bilingual in Spanish and English; proficiency in other languages is a plus. Additional Information: The adjunct pay rate for 2025-2026 is $1,483 per credit hour. Courses will be assigned based on enrollment needs. Adjuncts are eligible to participate in the NYS Teacher's Retirement System. Application Instructions: Please submit a resume and cover letter with your availability to teach.
