Job Description Summary: Onondaga Community College is accepting applications for skilled adjunct instructors to teach Psychology. Major Responsibilities: College-level teaching of Psychology courses. The current need is for instructors to teach PSY103 General Psychology especially day/afternoon time slots. Preparing and presenting lectures. Meeting with students as needed to answer questions. Responding to student queries (e.g. email or voice mail) as needed, in a reasonably timely manner. Writing, administering, and grading all student assignments and exams. Computing grades and submitting them on time.
Requirements:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Master's Degree or higher in Psychology or qualifying field from an accredited college, university or foreign equivalency. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Strong candidates will have some experience teaching at the community college level and working with diverse populations of students, especially underrepresented students. Bilingual in English and Spanish. English and other languages will be considered. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES: Must be proficient in the Microsoft Office Product suite.

Application Instructions:
