The Advanced Computing Center for the Arts and Design is accepting applications for a non-tenure track, Semester Lecturer appointment to teach undergraduate and graduate course(s) for the Center. Duties include but are not limited to: curriculum/syllabus design, content and materials development, teaching, and service activities. The selected candidates will be expected to complete activities and provide support for developing and teaching undergraduate and/or graduate students, depending on chosen candidates’ degree certification.All courses are taught in person on the University’s main campus in Columbus, Ohio.**Performance Objectives*** Presenting course material and guiding students through assignments* Creating an engaging and inclusive classroom environment* Demonstrated commitment to student success.* Offer open “office” hours weekly for student questions or assistance.**Education and Experience Requirements*** Terminal degree or equivalent in Design, Design Visual Communication or a related area.* One to five years of teaching and/or industry related experience in the fields of Design or relevant areas.
