We are recruiting an experienced SACO in Fort Belvoir, VA, with the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA). Responsibilities

The following reflects management’s definition of essential functions for this job but does not restrict the tasks that may be assigned. Provide administrative and action officer support to OI-MSC SAP Work in coordination with administrative staff to manage scheduling and coordination of calendars, meetings, conferences, travel arrangements, etc. Keep senior leadership and Directorate staff informed of relevant organizational events. Includes working in close coordination with other OI leadership and Directorate personnel; synchronizing and coordinating efforts across all OI teams; providing coordination and liaison with other contractors assigned to DTRA OI to facilitate decisions by leadership; organizing and de-conflicting meetings and action responses; assisting in strategic, tactical, and operational planning for OI-MSC SAP. Perform complex tasks involving the gathering, analyzing, and compiling of data and information into well-written reports and presentations, to support decision-making. Review, screen, control, maintain records, and coordinate responses on incoming correspondence. Distribute and track OI-MSC SAP action items to appropriate program and/or department staff elements. Manage multiple projects and priorities, and initiate follow up to ensure timely achievement of commitments. Manage flow of correspondence, presentations, and emails; classified and unclassified. Edit and produce final copy of formal correspondence, correspondence summaries, briefings, reports, and a wide variety of other analytical, process flow, spreadsheets, and documents. Coordinate meetings, reserve conference rooms, initiate secure video teleconferencing (SVTC) support and other administrative and logistics support functions. Evaluate, integrate, analyze, and interpret information in conjunction with other DTRA staff elements. Interface with other support services including internal and external organizational POCs. Additional duties may include: Provide editing support for reports, briefings and memorandums, review documents for official signature, coordination or concurrence, for accuracy and completeness, conformance with style, format, or procedural requirements and guidelines. Attend and brief at OI-MSC SAP meetings and working groups Provide tasker support, to include researching resources and coordinating with other action officers across the agency at large Support other duties as required. Qualifications

Required Skills and Qualifications: Supported Technologies: Advanced computer skills in the Microsoft Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, and Teams) and demonstrated competency to manipulate, integrate, translate, manage and rationalize large volumes of data and files. Familiarity with tasker management systems, such as CATMS or ETMS2, or a similar tasking platform. Experience with developing and maintaining SharePoint databases and sites. Experience with military technical writing, such as writing standard operating procedures, official memorandums, “ghost note” e-mails for senior leader correspondence, white papers, award citations and narratives, and Power Point presentations Experience with Adobe Pro. Experience with Federal Government Records Management. Required Skills/Qualifications: Top Secret, with immediate SCI Eligibility. A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university or minimum 5+ years of experience working in operations and/or administrative capacity in a government customer environment. Experience working in support of command level leaders and decision makers from Government, DoD, Service, or Joint national security headquarters staff or equivalent. Experience must include project coordination, calendar management, meeting planning and business document creation. Experience using Defense Travel System (DTS) to include processing complicated overseas travel authorizations and vouchers. Experience at an advanced level using Microsoft Office suite applications as well as use of the internet and web applications. Demonstrated ability to effectively multi-task and manage multiple competing priorities. Demonstrated ability to monitor leadership inboxes and maintain confidentiality on sensitive information. Strong interpersonal skills with a track record for effectively operating and engaging with leaders & employees at all levels of the organization. Desired Skills/Qualifications: 5+ years of experience working in administrative and/or operational environments. Flexible in a mission-focused environment where priorities constantly change. Experience supporting DoD senior leadership (Colonel/GS15 or above). Persuasive written and oral communication skills; messages and/or briefings are clear and concise. Extremely organized, with high attention to detail. Problem solver and critical thinker. Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion. Knowledge of DTRA is a plus; current or prior DTRA employee is preferred but not required. Physical Requirements:

Employee needs to be able to sit at a workstation for extended periods; use hand(s) to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. Most positions require ability to work with a computer for extended periods of time reading, reviewing/analyzing information, and providing recommendations, summaries and/or reports in written format. Must be able to effectively communicate with others verbally and in writing. Employee may be required to occasionally lift and/or move moderate amounts of weight, typically less than 20 pounds. Regular and predictable attendance is essential.
