in Albuquerque, NM, where the sun shines 310 days a year! The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a full-time ophthalmologist dedicated to providing exceptional care to our veterans. Responsibilities:
Providing routine vision care, including testing and prescribing glasses and contact lenses. Performing corrective surgeries such as repairing injuries, corneas, and cataract removal. Conducting advanced surgical procedures like laser or keyhole surgeries. Diagnosing and treating eye diseases and injuries. Managing emergency, outpatient, and specialist eye clinics. Addressing medical disorders affecting vision holistically. Utilizing therapeutic procedures and performing biopsies. Benefits:
